Throughout the course of my Bachelor of Education I have acquired a lot of wonderful and creative pictures and notes. I will certainly hold onto these small mementoes for the rest of my life and have included a few here for you to enjoy.
I have provided translation along with some of the notes that I received. I was surprised that by the end of my Kindergarten internship I was able to easily read my five-year-old student’s writing. They are still learning their sounds and their writing can sometimes be difficult to understand but it was certainly one of my favorite parts of my internship.

This note was created during a writing period when students were allowed to write about something that hadn't actually happened to them. Typically, we ask students to write about true events so this was an exciting activity for some. Sam drew a picture of his mother walking him to my house to play, I had told him earlier that day that my house was yellow.
Translation: I was playing at Ms. Smith's house.

This note was given to me when I returned to Connaught Street Elementary for a visit.
Translation: I liked when Miss Smith was here.

This letter was given to me by some of my grade give students on the last day of my internship.
This letter was very special to me because it contained well wishes for my near-approaching move to China to teach. I had briefly mentioned to the students that I would be teaching Kindergarten and Grade One at an international school during the 2013-2014 school year, it meant a lot that they had remembered this.

This is an anonymous note I received in French class.
Translation: You have a pretty smile and I can see that you really like children. You will be a very good teacher!

I received this anonymous note during a particularly rough week during the second term of my B.Ed. at STU.
This note meant a lot because it was the first time someone had acknowledged the difficulty of working part-time and completing this degree. It went on to note my evident passion about education, which was very kind as well.
